How many Items of clothing do I need to send?

There is a helpful table for each product on the ‘how it works’ page.
The maximum number of items you can send are equal to the amount of squares on each item (for children’s clothes) so as an example, if you require each patch to be different then you’ll need to send the maximum amount.

What clothing can I send?

Baby grows, vests, rompers dungaree sets.. most of the usual main stream clothes you see in shops I can use. If I receive an item that can’t be used I will always make contact to discuss how to incorporate it, and of not I’ll make sure to send it back along with your completed blanket or cushion.

I don’t recommend hand knitted items, or items with zips, if the zip runs through the main pattern of the item.

Unfortunately I am unable to work with  premature clothing, however I can add this as an extra item sewn on top of your completed blanket. This has an extra charge.

What are the turnaround times for a blanket?

Most keepsakes are made within 3 weeks of receiving your items. However I always ask to alow up to 6 weeks. I will always keep you updated on each stage of the process so you’ll always have an idea when you’ll receive your keepsake, so there’s no guess work.

If you have an earlier deadline than this please do get in touch as I will always try my best to help.

Is there a time limit to send over my items?

There is no time limit. Once your deposit is paid you can send your items anytime. So if you’re waiting for your little one to grow out of a few things first you can relax knowing there’s plenty of time.

What happens to my deposit once paid?

Your deposit is non refundable and we use this to secure your order, and to ensure I have all materials needed when your items arrive.
This will then be deducted from your total once your items have been received by me.

What happens to the unused material from my items?

I try to use as much of each item as possible. What’s left over is more or less useless, and I will take this to be recycled. You can request these ‘offcuts’ on ordering however this will incur extra postage charges and will be posted back with your keepsake.

Are there care instructions for my keepsake?

Keepsakes come with care instructions on the tag, however as these are sold as keepsakes only, I do recommend against heavy day to day use to keep them in their best shape. If needed, cushions can be dabbed with a damp cloth and blankets can he hand washed. PLEASE DO NOT TUMBLE DRY!

What do I do once my deposit is paid? How and where do I send my items to?

Once you pay your deposit, you’ll receive an email with all the information needed to get your items to me safely. It will include the address and instructions on how to pack your parcel.

Once your items are received by me you will receive a payment link to pay any outstanding balance. Once paid in full your keepsake will enter production. Unfortunately I am unable to start production before your order has been paid in full.
